GEIS Introduces NDC High Speed DC Breaker and SONIC DC Switchgear at China Metro Power Supply Summit
On a beautiful golden autumnday in October, the China Metro Power Supply Technology Summit convened inBeijing, attracting a diverse audience from design institutes, subwayoperators, EPC companies, and specialized equipment manufacturers. Theconference covered critical technology topics including power supplyreliability, operation safety, energy efficiency, and integration withrenewable energy.
GEIS was invited toparticipate in the Summit and presented its NDC high-speed DC breaker andSONICGEAR DC switchgear. DC switchgear is the critical equipment in tractionpower supply systems. NDC is one of the world’s top three DC breakertechnologies, developed by HAWKER SIDDELEY (a Brush Company) in the UK. NDCbreakers have been deployed in subway and light rail systems worldwide。
Through a technology transferarrangement, GEIS will now manufacture the state-of-Art NDC breaker at itsShanghai facility and commercialize the product by the end of this year toserve the world’s largest metro market – China.
