GEIS Electrical Protection announced that it has been awarded a major contract by Felicity IDC Limited (FIDC), one of the Bangladesh’s most prominent and fastest-growing Co-Location Data Center, for the complete electrical power infrastructure of a new state-of-the-art Tier-III Data Center.

The milestone project encompasses the full scope of the substation and power distribution system, including medium-voltage switchgear, low-voltage switchgear, distribution boards, and a comprehensive system-level monitoring and controlling solution based on GEIS’s advanced PM Sky architecture. This integrated platform will ensure maximum reliability, real-time performance visibility, and seamless operational control for the facility.

FIDC has rapidly emerged as a key player in Bangladesh’s digital infrastructure landscape, delivering carrier-neutral, high-availability data centers that support the country’s booming cloud, fintech, and e-commerce sectors. This new Infrastructure further strengthens FIDC’s position as a trusted partner for hyperscale and enterprise clients seeking world-class colocation services in the region.

In executing the project, GEIS is partnering with JRC Group, a highly respected local engineering firm in Bangladesh renowned for its expertise in complex infrastructure projects. The collaboration combines GEIS’s global technological leadership with JRC Group’s deep understanding of the local market and regulatory environment, ensuring smooth project delivery and long-term operational excellence.

“The winning of this prestigious project with Felicity IDC underscores GEIS’s proven capability to deliver mission-critical power solutions for the most demanding data center environments worldwide,” said Rain Zhou, VP International of GEIS. “Our end-to-end electrical systems, paired with the intelligent PM Sky monitoring platform, provide the reliability, efficiency, and scalability that modern hyperscale data centers require. We are proud to contribute to Bangladesh’s digital transformation alongside strong partners FIDC and JRC Group.”

Construction and installation are set to commence immediately, with the facility targeted for commercial operation in Q1 of 2026.
