GEIS Medium Voltage Products Approved for Egypt’s National Utility System
On December 8, 2025, The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has officially approved several medium voltage products from GEIS following a comprehensive evaluation process that included technical documentation review, type test verification, and a factory audit.
The approved product portfolio includes:
• SecoGear P/V Medium Voltage Switchgear
• SecoVac VB2 Plus Vacuum Circuit Breaker
• ALPS US3.0 Ring Main Unit (RMU)
These products are now fully certified for operation within Egypt’s 12 kV and 24 kV electrical networks, meeting the technical and operational requirements of EEHC and its affiliated utility companies.
This approval marks a significant milestone for GEIS, enabling the company to officially participate in Egypt’s utility market and support power distribution, transmission, and critical infrastructure projects nationwide.
